Living and working in Boulder means never being more than a few minutes away from some of the best hiking, cycling and climbing on the continent. With more than 300 days of sun a year, it's not uncommon for Boulder Googlers to slip out of the office for a workout in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. If spending time outdoors is important to you, there aren't many better places to be than Boulder.
This is a great place to work out your brain, too. The Boulder Google engineering team maintains a close relationship with the University of Colorado, whose main campus is only about a mile from our brand-new office. This city is home to some of the nation's top research and scientific institutions; in Boulder's dozens of unique bars, restaurants and coffee houses, you never know what you'll end up discussing – or who you'll end up discussing it with.

We are pushing cloud computing by enabling rich web applications using Chrome. The Boulder Chrome software team includes talented engineers who develop software tools for Chrome application developers and implement a C++ framework for cutting-edge web applications. We have openings for C++ software engineers with experience developing object-oriented design patterns in C++.
Our Geographic & 3D team develops SketchUp, LayOut, 3D Warehouse and the 3D Building Pipeline. We build tools that allow people all over the world to create, share and collaborate with 3D information. We currently have openings for Java and C++ software engineers.
Boulder's Apps team develops the document list for Google Docs. Our engineers work on the tools that let users organize their documents, spreadsheets and presentations in a way that makes sense. The Boulder Apps team has openings for Java software engineers.
